Amanda Seyfried born on the 3rd of December, 1985 is a former child model turned actress - best known for portraying Sophie Sheridan in the feature film Mamma Mia! (2008). She made her breakthrough as Karen Smith (one of the Plastics) in Mean Girls (2004) and became an overnite star with the lead role in Mama Mia! that also featured her musical performance - Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! (A Man After Midnight). Seyfried was last seen as Jennifer's best friend - Anita in the dark horror Jennifer's Body (2009).
